Consulate General of the Republic of Kenya, Arusha
The Kenya Consulate in Arusha is a diplomatic mission representing the interests of the Kenyan government and its citizens within the East African Community (EAC) and beyond. The Consulate was approved by the Cabinet on 18th May 2018 and operationalized on 26th August 2021. It was inaugurated by the Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs on 22nd July 2022, marking the beginning of its mission to foster bilateral relations between Kenya and the EAC, particularly with the United Republic of Tanzania.
The Kenya Consulate in Arusha recognizes the importance of Arusha as the headquarters of the EAC and a key market for Kenyan trade and investment. It focuses on enhancing integration and representing Kenyan interests in the region. The Consulate also supports the significant Kenyan diaspora in and around Arusha.
